Holden Special Vehicles has taken the car-buying experience to new heights with a special program to run for the next three months.
Buyers will be flown to visit the HSV factory and watch their cars roll down the production line, as the guest of HSV and the Retailer who sold them the car.
Similar schemes are popular with prestige European and American marques, but the HSV scheme is a first for the Australian market. It's natural, then, that such an offer should come with joining a select Australian driving "club" such as HSV ownership.
Anybody who orders a new HSV car between May 1 and July 31 is automatically treated to the full HSV and Holden Race Team experience.
HSV will fly the vuyer on Qantas from capital cities and will arrange transfers from Melbourne airport to HSV's Clayton production facility and headquarters.
The buyers will then tour the HSV production operations and watch their own car being transformed into a high performance prestige vehicle as well as visiting HSV Heaven, an area set aside for all the companies memorabilia. The idea is to give the buyers first-hand knowledge of how an HSV car - including their own - comes together. HSV call it the first link in the customer life chain. HSV estimates nearly 600 customers during the time of the offer.
An engineering presentation follows which examines the various HSV modifications and how they improve performance dynamics.
Lunch with HSV executives is next, followed by a tour of the Holden Race Team facilities.
The buyers are also presented with their leather compendium on the day, before being escorted back to Melbourne airport for their return flights.
Any confirmed order for HSV mainstream models in the May to July period secures this VIP offer.
